The Medicine Hat Women’s Shelter Society supports women and children who are experiencing family violence by providing them with safe shelter, education and access to community resources. Several programs including counselling and housing are offered out of the Shelter.

Trained Intervention Workers are available 24-hours a day, to provide information on issues related to family violence and shelter services, emotional support to those in violent relationships, and referrals to appropriate community resources.
